CPABC is hosting a variety of fall recruitment events as public practice firms begin to open applications for the fall.

There are  several events for student interesting in learning more about CPA, public accounting firms and the recruitment process.

Employer Showcase August 26, 2020 – 2:00 PM to 6: 00 PM

Expand your network and meet with organizations participating in CPABC’s first virtual Employer Showcase! The event is open to CPABC members, candidates, students, and future CPAs. Find out who’s hiring and learn about career opportunities available to you in a variety of industries and sectors in BC. You’ll also meet representatives from recruitment firms who can help you further your career in accounting. Prepare for Fall recruitment! The CPABC has updated their Recruitment framework for students and employers. To help students prepare for Fall Recruit, CPABC have created a Public Practice Recruit FAQs Document and compiled a Student Opportunities Document outlining public practice events and opportunities for student engagement, which will  help start a successful career as a CPA. The CPABC Recruitment Framework outlines guidelines and key dates in the recruitment process for Fall 2020.

Students interests in Fall recruitment are advised to be proactive in learning and connecting with firms. CPABC has created two helpful documents with list of firm events and answers to FAQ.
